| When he allows himself to be seen, Warshot is a sturdy sniper in a high-tech suit of stealthy black armor. He wears a full helmet, with a full face non-transparent visor. He carries a rugged, technically advanced match-grade rifle able to fire single rounds or three round bursts with equal ease. In his secret identity Marcos Aguilar is a muscular latino with a compact athletic build. He dresses in style of a old school Cubano or in Miami clubbing attire depending upon the occasion. |

| Biography |
Marcos Aguilar was a promising and decorated sniper in a highly secretive national intelligence organization. His natural gift for marksmanship was matched only by his absolute discipline. He never missed, never showed emotion, and followed orders without question. But when a mission went disastrously wrong, Marcos's life was irrevocably altered. His team was tasked with eliminating a powerful, corrupt CEO, but the mission went sideways. The CEO was Alex Abraxas, and he and his organization are more than they seemed. Most of the team was killed, but Marcos was in a sniper's nest far away and escaped. |
In the aftermath, Marcos was disavowed and an attempt was made by his own agency to disappear him, but he survived and went on the run. Eventually, he ended up working as a soldier of fortune in third world countries, and was recruited by Warfront International, the private military company owned by Warboss. When the person who previously operated under the codename of Warshot 'retired' to become the supermerc Hypersonic, Marcos was offered a promotion to become the next Warshot. |
Unlike his predecessor, Marcos is a happy employee that is loyal to the organization. After being disavowed and burned by his agency, then working for a succession of tin pot dictators and crazed revolutionaries, working for Warfront is the best job he's ever had and Warboss is the best...well...boss he's ever had. |
| Capabilities and Motivations |
The current Warshot, Marcos Aguilar, wields an advanced, high-tech suit of stealth armor and a devastating sniper rifle, focusing his powers on long-range attacks and creating battlefield disruption. His abilities allow him to become nearly invisible for defense, execute a tactical triple-shot attack against multiple nearby targets, and provide lethal overwatch support for his allies, all while maintaining a tactical advantage from a distance. Warshot also carries a compact automated turret as a backpack, which he can set up with his Sniper Rifle; he will sometimes do so to cover his escape. The turrent can be remotely destroyed in case he cannot recover it, and later replaced via resupply. |
Marcos Aguilar's motivations are defined by a deep-seated loyalty to his employer, Warfront International, and his boss, Warboss, a dramatic shift from the vengeful freelancer he might have been. After being betrayed and abandoned by a national intelligence organization, he found a stable and professionally rewarding life working for Warfront, a private military company. This experience transformed his worldview, and he now happily embraces his role as a soldier-of-fortune, viewing his deadly work as a job well-done and a means to maintain the best professional situation he has ever had. |
