| Biography |
A literal red-headed stepchild from rural Iowa, Angus endured an abusive homelife until puberty triggered his mutant gene, granting him a 'perfect' physical form. Standing 6'11'', he became a superhuman phenom, effortlessly dominating every sport and social scene in high school. This reinforced a deep-seated need to be physically dominant, an 'alpha male' complex born from his brutal youth. However, his dreams of a pro-sports career evaporated when a standard supers-test at the University of Michigan identified him as a mutant, making him ineligible for all competitive sports and voiding his scholarships. |
Left without options, Angus was recruited by a shady promoter named Mr. Jonas into a lucrative underground superhuman fighting circuit. Fighting under the name 'Fracas', he excelled in the Arena and used his superhuman abilities and grit to maintain a perfect fight record. His success, driven by his intense competitiveness, earned him a shot at the #2 contender. But just before the match, Mr. Jonas ordered him to throw the fight for a betting scam. Unable to contemplate faking a loss, Fracas defiantly won the bout in 30 seconds, costing the promoters a fortune. |
For his defiance, the promoters set him up. They arranged a bogus fight in Atlanta and tipped off law enforcement to raid it. The ever-alert Fracas sensed the trap and escaped capture, but he was now blacklisted from the Arena and a known entity to the Feds. After failing to find work in smaller fight circuits his money ran out, forcing him to take jobs as a superpowered thug. This 'career' eventually led him to a full-time position on a team of industrial saboteurs known as The Violators, cementing his new life as a professional villain. |
| Capabilities and Motivations |
Fracas's mutation grants him a perfect physical form, resulting in a balanced suite of superhuman abilities rather than a single specialty. He possesses enhanced senses and moderate superhuman strength, athleticism, agility, and vitality. This core physical perfection is augmented by a rapid healing factor, an efficient metabolism, and hyper-keen alertness. This combination makes him a terrifyingly effective all-around brawler, able to out-fight stronger opponents, out-maneuver martial artists, and out-last nearly any opponent who dares to get into melee range with him. |
Fracas is driven by an all-consuming 'alpha male syndrome'—a deep-seated psychological need to be physically dominant in every situation. This complex was forged by his abusive childhood and reinforced by his effortless athletic and social supremacy in high school. He's not motivated by ideology or greed, but by a powerful, one-dimensional competitiveness. After his mutation cost him a legitimate sports career and his indomitable pride cost him his place in the Arena, supervillainy is the only path he sees left that allows him to get paid for doing the one thing he truly loves: fighting and proving he's the best. |
