| The Antipaladin is a terrifying figure in blackened full plate armor, a tattered black cloak, eerie red eyes, armed with a blackened mace and a round metal shield with a dark red boss overlayed with a black cross. When he speaks, his voice is a frightening sepulchral croak uttering archaic and barely comprehensible proclamations. |

| Biography |
Once upon a time Sir Morvan Le Hir was a dark knight in the times of Camelot, but was a blackguard and a villain. Ultimately he was challenged to a duel by Lancelot, and was mortally wounded. But his lover, the equally black hearted witch Enchante cast a spell on his dying body in a failed attempt to save him. Instead, it transformed him into a form of undead eldritch being, forever binding his restless spirit to his blackened armor. He has existed as this horrifying figure over the course of 1,500 years, neither truly alive nor at peace. Eventually his true name was forgotten and he was known as Antipaladin. |
Since being cursed, the Antipaladin has been a malevolent force, a frightening spirit animating an empty shell of plate armor. He has no physical body within the suit, a direct consequence of Merlin's potent magic. This unique state of un-life has afforded him a terrifying longevity, and he has roamed the mortal world for over a millennium and a half, his existence a constant, looming threat. When confronted and defeated in combat, his form discorporates and fades away, but this is only ever a temporary reprieve for his opponents. |
| Capabilities and Motivations |
The Antipaladin is an embodiment of unyielding, eternal malice, a force of corrupted will animated by a deep-seated curse rather than life itself. This entity is defined by a paradox: an ancient relic of a lost age that is simultaneously an ever-present and inevitable threat. Its power is an expression of dominance and dread, built not on strategic finesse but on raw, unstoppable might and psychological oppression. The villain's resilience is a function of its very existence, designed to punish those who would defy it and to ensure its own persistence beyond mortal means of defeat. The Antipaladin's abilities are therefore less a set of tactical choices and more the natural consequence of its cursed stateāa manifestation of ancient betrayal and undying hatred that is fated to return, again and again, until the root of its eternal suffering is addressed. |
The Antipaladin, being mystically constrained from comprehending or discussing his true origins, acts with a singular, primal motivation born from his cursed existence: to inflict terror and destruction upon the mortal world. Having betrayed Camelot and been trapped in a timeless, non-living state by Merlin, his very being is a manifestation of ancient rage and corrupted purpose. Without his original body or the memories of his motivations, the malevolent curse drives his actions, compelling him to impose tyranny upon the weak and to punish the just. His terrifying nature and relentless attacks are not based on a personal philosophy but on a deep-seated, instinctive hatred for the life he can no longer truly experience, making him a pure engine of chaos and fear. He is, in essence, a weapon of eternal punishment, forever seeking to corrupt and dismantle the world that betrayed him long ago, without any true understanding of why. |
