| Virtus is an imposing figure of radiant energy, his towering frame glowing faintly yellow with a brilliance that cannot be hidden. His white, beacon-like eyes shine from beneath the smooth faceplate of his containment suit, a marvel of Equitas’ engineering that allows him to focus his powers and maintain a stable form. The suit is sleek yet sturdy, designed not only to hold back the constant surge of energy coursing through his body but also to channel it into devastating bursts of light. At his side rests the Torch of Justice, a specialized focusing device that allows him to shape his radiant power with precision. Cloaked in brilliance and armed with purpose, Virtus stands less as a man in armor and more as a living symbol of light given form. |

| Biography |
Marcus Hale was a decorated military officer, respected for his leadership, discipline, and unwavering sense of duty. In his mid thirties, he was assigned to a top-secret deployment to the Wagner II Base on Mars, part of a joint Earth-Mars research and defense initiative. The mission was routine, or so it seemed. While aboard the shuttle transporting him and his squad, a catastrophic failure occurred. Explosions ripped through the vessel as systems malfunctioned, leaving Marcus Hale as the sole survivor. Yet he did not return unchanged. He was now a figure emanating pure, radiant light. His skin glowed faintly yellow, his eyes burned white like twin beacons, and his presence was almost overwhelming in its intensity. Hale awoke in the middle of space, alone, everything around him destroyed. His abilities confused him, he looked at his arms glowing yellow, his chest radiating the same color. Floating endlessly in the great abyss of space, Hale focused his energy toward Earth, all he wanted was to be home. Upon returning from space to his home in Ravenwood, Hale flew right into the middle of a super battle where Veritas and Equitas struggled against strange illusion demons powered by an OblivAeon shard. As soon as Hale joined the fight, the tide shifted, Veritas and Equitas were no longer overwhelmed. Even though Marcus didn't know how to fully channel his power, his natural power and aura alone was enough to quickly apprehend the demons. |
Veritas and Equitas dumbfounded by what they just saw quickly sought out Marcus, they wanted to help harness and control the reckless power he had obtained. Equitas, whose technological genius eclipsed nearly anyone in the known universe, crafted for him a containment suit, allowing Marcus to maintain his form and feel closer to the humanity he had lost. More than that, Equitas forged the Torch of Justice, with it, Marcus could focus his radiant energy, shaping it with purpose instead of chaos. Now with great power Marcus wanted to put it to good use. He wanted to join the good fight alongside Veritas and Equitas in their crusade to restore order to Rook City. To stand as more than a victim of power, but as a symbol of Justice itself, shining light into a city drowning in injustice and chaos. Virtus was now born, initially an accident with no future, transformed into Radiance with purpose. |
