New Strength Skills |
Bell Ringer |
1 Attack Only, +1 to hit, +1 S, no Weapon
Bonuses, foe Stunned on a 2-5 on Injury
Chart. |
Untiring |
When wielding Flails and Morning Stars,
the Hero may use the Strength Bonuses every
HtH phase of the game, not just the first
round of a HtH engagement. (Created by Jester.) |
Strong Legs |
The Hero may use Heavy Armor and a Shield
without suffering Movement penalties. |
Bull Dodge |
If any enemy tries to intercept the warrior
when he is charging, he can attempt to Bull
thru them. If he decides to do so, the intercepting
model takes a hit equal to the warriors
Strength, including Mighty Blow but excluding
Weapon bonuses, with no Criticals. If the
interceptor is reduced to 0 wounds by the
hit, they are Knocked Down and the charging
warrior may continue towards his target.
If the interceptor is
not Knocked Down the warrior himself takes
a hit at the Strength of the Interceptor
counting Mighty Blow but not weapon bonus
and with no Criticals. If reduced to 0 Wounds,
the charging warrior is Knocked Down. If
not Knocked Down the charger must stop and
fight the intercepting model in the HtH
phase but niether warrior counts as charging.
The warrior may continue to Bull Dodge until
he reaches his target or fails to Knock
Down an interceptor. |
Shove |
Instead of making his normal attacks the
warrior may shove another model in base
to base with him a number of inches away
equal to his Strength +1 minus his opponents
Strength. Large creatures count as having
one higher Strength for this purpose only.
Mighty Blow can be used, but not weapon
bonuses.
The target moves away
from the warrior and is treated as having
fallen unless the model can make an Initiative
test. Roll to Hit as normal (WS vs WS).
Ex: The Hero is an Ogre with S5, is Large,
and has Mighty Blow. His opponent is S3.
5+1+1+1=8-3=5. The opponent is shoved back
5" and will fall if he fails an Initiative
check. |
Throw |
Instead of making his normal attacks the
warrior may throw another model in base
to base with him a number of inches away
equal to his Strength +1 minus his opponents
Strength. Large creatures count as having
one higher Strength for this purpose only.
The target moves away from the warrior and
is treated as having fallen unless the model
can make an Initiative test. Roll to Hit
as normal (WS vs WS).
Can only be done if in
HtH with one opponent and occurs last after
2 Handed strikes. Hero cannot be using a
shield and wearing Heavy Armor. Can throw
the victim at another target, rolling to
hit with BS using normal shooting rules.
If succesful the new target must roll under
their Initiative or take a hit with a Strength
equal to the distance the victim was thrown.
This can be used to throw people off ledges,
in which case they take normal falling damage
instead, and to throw people off the board
in which case they count as having fled
the board.
Example: The Hero is an
Ogre with S5, and is Large. His opponent
is S3. 5+1+1=7-3=4. The opponent is thrown
4 inches and will take d3 S4 hits when he
lands. If aimed at another model and the
Ogre succesfully roled to hit , the second
target will take a S4 hit if they fail their
Initiative check. |
