- The Trouble With Banshees:
We joined our Hunters at the onset of the Trouble With Banshees vignette, wherein
they learned of the existence of Banshees, the Morrigan, and the Cult of the Red
Hand, and discovered that Ebon wasn't really a wereraven afterall but is really
a rare kind of Faerie known as a Valravn.
- Session 1: a murder mystery and lots of restless spirits.
Plus, Miles manages to piss everyone off, and without a moments hesitation abandons
Ebon to an uncertain fate merely to avoid his own doom. Good times!
- Session 2 & 3: While the rest of the Hunters relax and enjoy
a good meal, Miles sneaks off on his own to return to the Reed house and the mysterious
warded bureau. Breaking through some of the Wards and traps, Miles opens a drawer
and finds a faceted mirror wrapped in felt. Unwrapping it and gazing into it's crazed
reflections he found himself transported to a strange dark realm infested with Cthonic
horrors, face to face with five other Mile's from different parallel timelines!
Over the course of two sessions, the Miles-es work together to defeat hordes
of Cthonic creatures, acquire Forbidden Knowledge, discover the fatal weakness of
Nikolai, the sorcerous ruler of this realm...and defeat him to win their freedom
and return to their home dimensions!
