Amarzedrin

Amarzedrin is a Wizard using the Prepared Casting option described in the simple magic system options.

Starting

This is Amarzedrin as a starting iconic character. Capable, and able to protect himself as well as his allies with his Globe of Invulnerability, this version is well suited to team play. Fresh out of school, Amarzedrin is book-smart but his many years of cloistered study of magic have left him out of touch with the mundane world.

The spell choices of this iconic version have not been filled in, to allow customization by a player who opts to use Amarzedrin as a pregenerated character.

a middle aged academy trained Wizard, heir to an ancient art of learned spellcasters, possessed of a deep education on matters both worldly and mystical. However he has less real world experience than his age and manner might suggest.

Experienced

This is an example of what Amarzedrin might look like after his first major milestone, having completed a significant adventure arc. Unlike the pregenerated version, this version does have prepared spells selected.

a middle aged academy trained Wizard, heir to an ancient art of learned spellcasters, possessed of a deep education on matters both worldly and mystical. Amarzedrin began his adventuring career with a tenous grasp upon how the world beyond the Academy really worked, and was somewhat prone to mistaking the theory of how things are supposed to be for how things actually are. However, a few thrilling adventures and terrifying brushes with harm or death have seasoned the good Wizard up and cured him of some of his bookish preconceptions. Filled with hard-won confidence and having hit his stride in the expansion of his magical prowess, Amarzedrin's previous know-it-all demeanor has begun a slow shift towards hubristic assurance of his own awesomeness.

This is an example of what Amarzedrin might look like after several major milestones; a powerful and seasoned adventurer poised to claim the title of Archwizard.

an aging academy trained Wizard, heir to an ancient art of learned spellcasters, possessed of a deep education on matters both worldly and mystical. Amarzedrin has seen many things in his days of adventuring, and grown greatly in ability. He is well along on the rarefied path of the Archwizard, and tales of his magical might have spread across the region. For years Amarzedrin allowed himself to be taken in with an elevated sense of worth and egotism, and his hubris nearly got him or allies killed on more than one occasion. But Amarzedrin always managed to survive, thus confirming his haughty sense of superiority, and his hubris has grown with each passing triumph to a truly impressive level of egotism. He regards himself as a great and powerful master of spells who is not to be trifled with, and his arrogance shows itself more often than it should.
