In the Empire, armies are always on the move. Forces range from local militia patrolling the forest for banditry to the Emperor taking the field against greenskins, the forces of Chaos, or the like. No army moves alone. A caravan of Camp Followers always trails behind. They include petty traders looking to make a little money, war widows ekeing out a living sewing and cooking, craftsmen who profit from war such as armourers and weaponsmiths, and even just corpse looters hoping for a rich harvest. While scorned by the Noble leaders of many armies, Camp Followers provide key support for troops in the field.
