Vanguard Carpet (Fabled)

This 8-foot by 10-foot carpet is plush and fancy, with a slightly non-symmetrical shape and various metal attachments that suggest its not really meant to be used as a floor covering.

Attuned Abilities

Conveniently Carryable. When this item is within 60 feet of you, as a Magic action you can cause it to fly to your empty hand, shrinking down to fit into your palm as it does. Similarly, while this item is within 60 feet of you and shrunken, as a Magic Action you can cause it to fly until it is beneath you, returning to its original size as it does so.

Magic Carpet Ride. This item is a Carpet of Flying with a Fly Speed of 20 feet. It is able to carry 1000 pounds. As a Magic action you can make the carpet hover and fly. It moves according to your mental directions, provided that you are within 60 feet of it.

Faster and Stronger. This item's Fly Speed improves to 40 feet and it is now able to carry 1500 pounds.

Cruisin' In Style. While riding on the carpet, as a Magic action you can activate an effect identical to Leomund's Tiny Hut but shaped as an 8 foot tall rectangular field matching the carpet's area. This effect is attached to the top of the carpet, and moves with it. This effect remains in place unless you dismiss it (no action), or get off the carpet, or cause the carpet to shrink.

Much Faster and Stronger. This item's Fly Speed improves to 80 feet and it is now able to carry 2000 pounds.
