Shield of the Oaken Bower (Fabled)
This mighty shield has a concave top and a pointed bottom, is bordered by elaborate engravings, and bears a majestic oak tree upon its boss. It is quite splendid to behold and worthy of royalty or a great hero. Its true origins are lost to antiquity, but it has been carried into battle by many generations of the noble House Bowen of Ulek.
This shield is weightless while wielded, cannot be defaced or marred, and is virtually unbreakable.
Aegis. The bearer gains an additional +1 AC.

Shielded. As a Reaction when you or a visible creature within 10 feet of you would take damage, you may grant a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to your character level, split as you like between yourself and visible creatures within 10 feet of you. Once you have used this ability you must finish a Short or Long Rest before using it again.

Aegis. The bearer gains an additional +1 AC.

Rooted. At the start of your turn you may reduce your Speed to 0. If you do, until the start of your next turn you cannot be moved, pushed, or knocked prone. If you would fall during this time, you instead hover in place. Finally, you gain Advantage on all Strength and Constitution checks and saving throws. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per Long Rest.
