Blackstar Amulet (Fabled)

This shiny black 8-pointed star reflects silvery white when turned in the light. Ice cold to the touch, weighty in the hand. A worshiper of Arawn that touches this amulet feels a great sense of peace, and can use it as a Holy Symbol or as a spellcasting focus.

Obfuscated. Despite being powerfully magical, the Detect Magic spell does not detect this item unless cast using a 2nd level or higher spell slot.

Aegis of Arawn. The bearer gains +1 AC if they are a worshiper of Arawn.

Attuned Abilities

Merged. The bearer can cause this item to merge with their form (no action), appearing as a tattoo or pattern upon their outer surface, and they continue to gain the benefits of the item while it is merged. The bearer can later unmerge with this item (no action), but the item cannot merge and unmerge in the same turn.

Fabled Ability

Ward of Arawn. When you are hit by an attack, as a Reaction you may spend a Hit Dice to roll it and add the result to your AC until the start of your next turn. This may cause the triggering attack to miss.

Improved Aegis of Arawn. The bearer gains an additional +1 AC if they are a worshiper of Arawn.

Dualistic Resistance. The bearer has Resistance to Necrotic and Radiant damage.

Resurgence of Arawn. Once per Long Rest, if you start your turn Bloodied you may regain a number of Hit Points equal to double your character level.
