Clerics

Retaliation Domain

Gods of the Retaliation domain are the divine arbiters of karma, vengeance, and inescapable consequence. They do not preach turning the other cheek; they demand that every blow be met in kind. Clerics of this domain act as relentless inquisitors and divine enforcers, seeking out oppressors, betrayers, and aggressors to ensure they reap exactly what they have sown.

Level 3: Retaliation Domain Spells

Your connection to this divine domain ensures you always have certain spells ready.

When you reach a Cleric level specified in the Retaliation Domain Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared. They are Cleric spells for you and do not count against your Prepared Spell limit.

Level 3: Retributive Fury

Your god rewards you for answering violence with violence. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack or a Cleric spell attack, if that creature has dealt damage to you since the end of your last turn, you deal an extra 1d6 Psychic damage to it.

Level 3: Vow of Enmity

As a Bonus Action, you can expend one use of your Channel Divinity to utter a vow of retribution against a creature you can see within 10 feet of you. You gain Advantage on attack rolls against the creature for 1 minute or until it drops to 0 Hit Points or has the Unconscious condition.

Level 6: Relentless Pursuit

When you hit a creature with an Opportunity Attack, you can expend one use of your Channel Divinity to move up to your Speed immediately after the attack as part of the same Reaction, staying locked onto your target. This movement does not provoke Opportunity Attacks.

Level 17: Reactive Enmity

Your vengeance interrupts your enemy's every action. While a creature is under the effect of your Vow of Enmity, whenever that creature makes an attack, you can take a Reaction to make one melee weapon attack against it, provided it is within your reach.
