Effect: Nature can be used to influence and improve the health and growth of plants and animals. Nature can be used defensively against attempts to affect a character's own life force and the life force of plants and animals. Nature can be used to favorably influence animals and plants with a Tier that is less than your Nature step. Nature can also be used to emulate certain other abilities in specific ways, as indicated per step.
At d4 Nature you may attempt to detect plants and animals within your zone or an adjacent zone, even if you ordinarily would not be able to do so due to obstructions or abilities such as Invisibility. You can also attempt to entangle an opponent by animating nearby vegetation within Standard Range.
At d6 Nature you may use Nature as if it were Summoning for the purpose of animating plants or calling animals with a Tier that is less than your Nature step.
At d8 Nature you may step down Nature and use it as if it were Weather.
At d10 Nature you may step down Nature and use it as if it were Air, Earth, Fire, or Water.
At d12 Nature you may use Nature as if it were Spells for the purpose of casting spells with a nature theme.
Common SFX: The Primal Soul SFX can be applied to make elementals, plants, and animals consider the character to be one of their own kind.
Common Limits: The No Animals Limit can be applied to remove a character's ability to affect animals.
The No Plants Limit can be applied to remove a character's ability to affect plants.
The No Elementals Limit can be applied to remove a character's ability to use elemental traits.
