| The Omega truck is big. It’s
just over 6 tons, about the size of the largest UPS or FedEx
delivery trucks. The exterior panels can be quickly changed
which allows the vehicle to be disguised in any number of
ways. Change the color, put on a company logo, etc. The
panels can also be of slightly different shape, which allows
the vehicle to change its profile. The positioning of lights
can be varied to diminish distinguishing features. Top all
of this off with different hubcaps and a license plate and
you can drive a different vehicle every day. |
|
The interior panels of the truck are armored with ballistic
plate. The truck can shrug-off most rifle rounds and even
some of the heavier stuff. The windows are bulletproof. The
entire cabin is sealed from the outside. An internal oxygen
system prevents gas from affecting the occupants. The truck
is also fitted with a smoke screen generator to discourage
anyone who would follow to close. |
|
The truck has a super-charged engine that can propel it at
speeds of over 120 mph. The enhanced suspension system allows
the vehicle to handle well for its size. IR headlamps and an
active IR-filtering windshield allow for nighttime “lights-off”
driving. Even the thickest fogs are a minor annoyance. The
windows are polarized to provide some flash defense for the
occupants. |
|
The truck has an advanced radio suite.
Standard, tactical, and satellite communications are
featured. A full Radio Direction Finding system allows it to
home in on most signals. |
|
By the close of the campaign the Omega Team had two of these
vehicles. They were designated the Alpha and Beta Trucks.
These two are very similar to the original Omega Truck,
which was stolen in the Louisiana Bayou country, near the
town of Galliano. The Omega Team believes that the Cabal
stole this vehicle. It has not been seen since. |

1: Disguised Night Driving lamps.
2: Roomy overhead with side-oriented
bulkheads allows for the easy storage and retrieval of
long-barreled weapons and conventional firearms! There's
even room left over to house a sophisticated military-grade
Radio/Comms Suite!
3: With a full 67.8 sq. ft. of floor space, there’s enough
room in a FasTrack for shelving and storage units, a
workbench and seat, and space for stand-up jobs like cutting
pipe.
4: Stand tall. The full height rear door(s) makes it easy to
walk into the cargo area and at 76
inches, the interior cargo height of a FasTrack is 2 feet
taller than Ford, Chevy and Dodge cargo vans.
5: The large, flat, and armored
exterior surface is ideal for graphic applications.
6: Low-profile mounting studs make
panel-switching a snap!
7: The 126-inch bed length of the FasTrack is the same
as the Chevy cargo van and 6 inches longer than the Ford E
Series cargo van. While the
125-inch wheelbase of the FT1061 is shorter than that of
Ford, Chevy and Dodge cargo vans. And with
a rear step height only 20 inches from the ground, you get
safe, easy entry and loading into the cargo area.
8: Ballistic Rubber Tires, useful for not
throwing a flat in a raging gun battle!
9: Armored full-size passenger side door
ideal for drive-bys!
10: (Not Pictured) Powerful Supercharged
Engine allows for shocking top-end speed! All
FasTrack models are powered by the AMC
Maelstrom V-12
engine with Sequential Port Fuel Injection and an electronic
transmission. With proper maintenance, it can last more than
200,000 miles.
11: The FT1061 has reenforced
independent front and rear
suspension for a comfortable ride and
increased handling, even at high speed.
12: All FasTrack models have
independently redundant four wheel ABS brakes with
power front and rear discs
allowing it dime-stopping halts.
13: Extra-thick armor plate protects the
engine block from unfortunate interference from unwanted
projectiles!
14: Bulletproof Auto-polarizing
windshield capable of resisting medium calibre weapons. |
