A Brother-Errant of the Order of the Closed Fist, Ernault is a potent and well trained warrior who fights in a most unusual fashion with naught but his barehands. Despite this peculiarity, he soon proved to be one of the mightiest warriors the Arrows encountered in their travels.
He journeyed with the Arrows from Kark, guiding them to his Order's fortress in Barizan far to the west, and from there he secured passage for the group to Jarval-Beah.
Once in Jarval-Bean the four surviving Machtig, Saemund, Ayden, Fyrclian, and Kjar plus Brother Ernault and another ally met along the way, the Kaer-Naese Totem Warrior Ul-Nar together formed a small elite strike squad that came to be known as the Arrows.
Frequently working behind the lines, taking on special missions, and aiding more conventional forces with their collection of specialized skills the six soon became legendary along the battlefront on both sides of the lines. In particular, Brother Ernault's training and knowledge specifically intended to battle the Kor was a great asset to the Arrows' operations.
Eventually the group was instrumental in the locating and routing of the Warlord Gardek, the mastermind and driving force behind the incensed and more effectively led Kor invasion. After this the Kor forces soon fell apart into smaller squabbling and disorganized groups again, bereft of effective leadership and the war was turned. When it was finally over Ernault departed the company of the Arrows, though they all parted on friendly terms as close allies.
