STATUS: RETRIRED: Due to his official membership in PRIMUS, Major Savage
severed his membership with the Millennial Men, although he is still a
dependable ally of the team and is amenable to combining forces with the
sanctioned members or the team such as Rook, Wrath, and Warman. |
 |
|
A Terran Marine Officer from the year 2231 AD, stranded on modern Earth
during a battle against the dimensional tyrant Istvatha V'han. Well trained
and well armed, he became involved with the Millennial Men and joined their
ranks for many months. He and War-Man in particular struck up a friendship
based on mutual respect that continues even though Savage is no longer a
member of the team. |
|
Meanwhile he was under investigation by PRIMUS, and once his story checked
out sufficiently for them to trust him, he became sanctioned. |

"Major Robert Savage, Terran Marine Corps. Reporting for
duty!" |

THE ICARUS AGENDA |
|
After a few more months of fighting super criminals and becoming irritated
by the seeming incompetance of PRIMUS Agents encountered in the field he
approached PRIMUS with a proposed arrangement and after some dithering at
higher levels
Major Savage secured a position for himself as an Agent of PRIMUS. He
holds the provisional rank of Major, works out of the Millennium City
office, and has trained a company of PRIMUS Agents to his demanding
standards. The program is called the ICARUS Agenda. ICARUS being an acronym
for Immediate Combat Action Response Units. |
|
The ICARUS agents are selected from the cream of PRIMUS's operation agents,
and equipped with new equipment, much of it copied from Major Savage's
high-tech gear. It is a pilot program for now, and if it proves itself in
Millennium City PRIMUS intends to have Major Savage train similar units in
other cities with a higher than normal proclivity for supercrime. |
|
Major Savage has an extremely advanced suit of modular armor and a tactical
warchest containing a complete load out of Terran Marine equipment.
Everything runs on energy cells (charges), and his suit has a number of
hardpoints where he can mount equipment for a particular mission. |
|
Aside from his armor and gear pool, he also carries an extremely powerful
multi-purpose energy rifle, and has an extremely advanced sensor array in
his helmet. Out of his suit, Major Savage is a genetically improved specimen
of a much more advanced society that has received the best training the
Terran Marine Corps could offer. |
|
Savage was an interesting experiment. He played out much more like a
military or sci-fi character than a normal super, being very tactical in his
actions and employing lots of military style high tech equipment. Though in
some respects he overlapped both War-Man (flying blaster) and Wrath
(government oriented super agent), he never seemed to conflict, overshadow, or overstep
his bounds. |
