A gamblin' man with a checkered past, Blackjack is driven by a need for
excitement coupled with a karmic urge to do good deeds. |
 |
|
Blackjack stumbled into the Mill-men, seemingly by random happenstance
appropriately enough, when they staked out a bar looking for a mystic serial
killer, using Alliage as bait. |
|
Blackjack tried to pick up on the cute girly, and his bizarre luck aura was
mistaken as a mystic emanation by Legend. Rook nabbed the slinky lounge
lizard thinking he was the killer they were looking for, but the truth soon
became known and Blackjack, intrigued by the turn of events, tagged along
for the ride. |
|
In the ensuing misadventures he ended up getting cast into the Hegemony
dimension with the rest of the Mill-men and proved a key player in the
efforts to resist capture and escape back to the Champions dimension. |
|
"Hey! Lucky me!" |
|
It remains to be seen whether he will continue hanging with the Mill-men
once Chantal is dealt with, but his pluck and moxy have more than earned him
a standing invitation. |
|
Blackjack may well be the luckiest man alive. It seems at
times that he has his own personal guardian angel looking out for him 24 and
7. Mechanically, in addition to some interesting subconscious probability
manipulation abilities, Blackjack has a ghostly duplicate tethered to him
with a slew of abilities allowing it to influence events to resolve in ways
conducive to Blackjack's best interests. |
