A mysterious new presence in Mill-City, Alliage recently made the
acquaintance of Rook, Gravitic, and Major Savage. |
 |
|
After assisting Rook in protecting the Millennium City park from a strange
bomb guarded by an elusive villain named Ricochet and clunking robots called
T.H.U.G.'s (Tactical Hueristic Uniform Grunts), Alliage joined in a raid to
neutralize a warehouse being used to manufacture the T.H.U.G.'s by the
robotic genius Dr. Robert Zuckert. |
|
Soon thereafter Alliage was kidnapped by Talisman, who had been possessed by
the evil spirit Chantal. It was revealed that Alliage was a descendant of
the lines of both Lancelot and the Fisher King, and her lineage steeped in
magic. Further she learned that the orbs she had "stolen" were really
figments of her subconscious, simply an enabler for her inherent magic. |
|
Chantal secretly intended to use her as her eventual permanent host body and
thus started to instruct Alliage in unlocking her gifts. Alliage
escaped her clutches, but the training was quite useful, and Alliage has
proven to be surprisingly capable in new and intriguing ways. |
|
"A quoi bon? Are we never truly
going to get ze coffee?" |
|
Alliage is a powerful mystically oriented character
designed around three Multipowers; a small, medium, and large one. Her
overall theme revolves around elemental alchemy, though in a very broad
comic-booky way. |
|
With a toolbox of options ranging across the gamut of offense, defense,
movement, and utility Alliage is perhaps the single most flexible character
to ever grace the Mill-Men's roster. Her range of options is staggering, and
she can adapt to fill many different roles ably, however if she tries to do
too much at once she stretches her capabilities too thin and often fails. |
|
Her awesome adaptability and power is counterbalanced by the fact that she
is by far the most physically frail and least coordinated of all the
Mill-men; often by the time she is ready to act, the situation has
fluctuated in some new fashion, often leaving her off-kilter. |
