Rat Catcher
Package Type: Basic
Package Source: WHFRPG2e
The Rat Catcher is a common sight throughout the Empire, found in villages, towns, and cities alike, where they make their living disposing of vermin. Some are travelling folk, moving from community to community, collecting a fee to do their work, and then moving on, while larger settlements usually have resident Rat Catchers. City-dwelling Rat Catchers spend an unhealthy amount of time sludging through sewers and other unpleasant underpinings. It's a disgusting job, but somebody has to do it.
Rat Catchers typically use small dogs, or perhaps trained ferrets, to hunt their prey, and most are fairly adept at training animals.
Rat Catchers tend to be quite a hardy folk; this is misleading however because all it means is that the weak ones get sick and die of some unpleasant illness, or else find a better way to make a living.
